Ramadian Bachtiar is a documentary photographer & filmmaker based in Jakarta - Indonesia. He holds degrees in marine science and environment & resources management which drive him to concentrate his works on social and environmental issues. He also works intensively on underwater photography. His work has been published in many major publications including National Geographic Indonesia, Kompas daily, and the Jakarta Post daily to name a few.

He also has held several photo exhibitions such as:
- Imitation of Life (2001), Antara Gallery of Photojournalism
- Archipelago's Underwater (2005) at Galeri Bentara Budaya Yogyakarta
- Oceanosphere (2006) at Antara Gallery of Photojournalism.

Ramadian has also produced several documentary film mainly focused on social documentary on environment related issues. In 2007 he directed "Sui Utik", a film in which won the film idea competition in NUFF Global - Norway (Nordisk Ungdoms Filmfestival). In the same year, he co-founded Imaji Bumi - an Indonesian based production company in 2007.

He currently lives in Jakarta and works independently.
